The junior class started out the 1955-56 school year by electing the follow- ing as class officers: President, S. Brittain; Vice-President, R. Fichtner; Secretary, M. Beals; Treasurer, J. Sayer. Student council representatives were J. Sayer and S. Druse. There were 27 members in the class with Mr. Potter as their sponsor. The boys who went out for football were: L. Burke, S. Druse, E. Kester, J. Minnick, D. Sams, M. Simon, N. Smith, D. Teter, and R. Tomlin. The girls in Pep Club were: M. Beals, S. Brittain, P. Burton, M. Deselms, J. Johnson, C. Kubik, M. Musii, D. Phillips, B. Sams, A. Thompson, C. Waters, and R. Wright. Three of these girls, M. Beals, P. Burton, and C. Kubik, were cheerleaders. Seven of the juniors were in band, nine boys in boys's chorus, thirteen girls in girl's chorus and twenty-two in mixed chorus. The junior class chose as their dramatic offering, To Blush Unseen. The play is a farce, and featured R. Fichtner in the leading role. Other members in the cast were: S. Brittain, A. Thompson, C. Waters, N. Smith, J. Sayer, A. Johnson, P. Burton, M. Beals, D. Phillips, J. Johnson, and J. Ridpath. The play was offered Friday, December 2. n
