Sayer, R. Banzhaf, M. Simon, R. Mousel, R. Freeborn, E. Golson. Harsch, A. Banzhaf, G. Cater, L. Kubik. Our F.F.A. chapter was very active during the school year. Meetings were held the first Monday of every month. The officers were: Arlo Banzhaf, president, Kenneth Harsch, vice-president, Marvin Colson, news reporter, and George Sayer, sentinel. The boys went on several field trips during the year and several boys attended the district and state conventions. They treated the F.H.A. chapter to a venison dinner. They elected Marilyn Harding F.H.A. queen. A very successful year was enjoyed by all. 23

During the 1954-55 school year the F.H.A. Chapter has accomplished many things. Some of the things they did during the annual F.H.A. week were to have a pot-luck supper for the members and their parents, and put posters in down-town store windows honoring the week. The members also attended the District Convention in North Platte. On Saturday, the week before Easter, they held a bake-sale and sold Easter lilies. Ann Easter and Carol Waters. The Pep Club girls started out the year with fifty-one members and with Mrs. Curry as their sponsor. The officers were Shirley Miller, President; Marilyn Harding, Vice- President; Shirley Musil, Secretary; and Janice Reeder as Treasurer. The first team cheerleaders were Sharon M. Johnson, Janet Reeder, June Sable, and Carol Field. The second team cheerleaders were Andrea Thompson, Carole Kubik, Marilyn Beals, and Marjorie Smith. Many good times were enjoyed throughout the year but the main high- light was the Football Banquet which was held November 22. The theme of the football field was carried out.
