Senior Class History In the year 1943, fifteen of the senior class members started their journey through school. They included Charla Case, Charles Druse, Kenneth Ellis, Georgia Harsch, Wayne Hiatt, Sharon Johnson, Shirley Miller, Anastasia Minnick, Larry Moore, Bill Mousel, Belva Pearson, Homer Roberts, George Sayer, Dennis Stearns, and Elizabeth Trant. Mrs. Poush traveled with us through the first year of our journey, she then turned us over to Miss Hansen who traveled with us through the second year, we then went to Miss McCliment for our third year, we went to the fourth where we added Donna Allen. Mrs. Bose was our teacher, she moved on to the fifth grade with us. Now came the big step up into junior high where we picked up Mildred O'Brien and Sandra Phelps. Miss Benedict, Mr. Minnick and Mrs. Hutchison were our teachers. We moved on into the seventh grade where Rochelle Fichtner joined us. Our teachers were Mr. Fosnot, Mr. Haach, and Mrs. Hutchison. We came to our final year in grade school when we added Carolyn and Marilyn Harding and Patty Wright to our ranks. Our teachers were Mr. Stephenson, Miss Weakley and Mr. Kempkes. We finally arrived at our Tirst year of high school. The main events were the mixer, which made us full-blooded high school students, and our very first football banquet. We gained Arlo Banzhaf and Robert Wyman. We traveled on to our sophomore year where we added to our number Bob Bellamy, Hoyt Cherry, Velda Cherry, Shirley Musil, Janet and Janice Reeder, and Carol Field. We traveled on to our big year, the junior year, where we added Dick Burton, David Russell, and Darrell Wulf. We gave our play The Happier We'll Be, with Miss Wink as our director. We gave The Mardi Gra as our Junior-Senior Banquet theme. At last we arrived at our final year in high school, and it seems like we have gotten there too soon. Our senior officers were President, Charles Druse; Vice-President, Donna alien; Secretary, Sandra Phelps; and Treasurer, Marilyn Harding. Our Student Council Representatives were Sharon Johnson and Bob Bellamy. No new members were added during our last year. Through the year we attended our last school events. The class play, the lovely banquet the juniors gave us, sneak day, all passed and finally, as we received our diplomas our journey through school was ended. 7
