May 2, 1957 McCook, Nebraska Dear Allene, Thought I’d drop my work and write you a few lines. I started thinking this morning about all our good times in old C. H. S. and what has happened to all the kids in four long years. You knew Elton Teter had married Mary Ellen and that they were living on a nice little farm ten miles north of Bartely. They’re very happy too, raising cattle and children. I ran on to Jean Allen just yesterday and she's been teaching in Kansas wait- ing until Kenneth gets through college. Virginia and Pee Wee are very happily married now and have the sweetest little girl. Pee Wee is coaching at Oklahoma and Virginia seems to be using her musical career singing lullabies.
