The CHS Choral Department is made up of four different Choir: the Freshman Choir. the Varsity Choir, the Treble Choir. and the Concert Choir. Each of these choirs meets during the school day and is involved in all of the concerts and different contests. Along with the scheduled choir hours there has been another non-scheduled choir -the Jazz Choir. They have been busy doing concerts at the middle schools, Northtown, the Cambridge Mall, along with performances in Kansas City. The tour to Kansas City was one of the high- lights for the Concert Choir this year. Leaving Friday morning, April IO. they arrived in Kansas City around 5:00 p.m. leav the evening for relax- ation. Saturday the day was filled with traveling to World of Fun. an amusement park outside of Kansas City. Sunday the Choir sang in a church in the area and spent the afternoon touring Kan- sas City. Sunday evening was spent at the Waldo Astoria, a dinner theater in Kansas City. Leaving early Monday morning they arrived in Cam- bridge around 5:O0 p.m. This year has been an exciting one and the Choral Department of CHS would like to express their appreciation for the support showed by the school and community during the past year.
