Y-Teens Among the most active organizations in Cambridge High School is the Y-Teen Club which is composed of one hundred and ninety-five sophomore, iunior and senior girls. Under the leadership of the president, Barbara Hartrum, this group has been involved in a number of pro- iects for the school, the community, and the girls themselves. They participated in the Forget-Me-Not sale and the Heart Fund drive, made contributions to TAPS and the Ohio District YWCA, presented the Easter chapel program, and co-sponsored a delegate to Buckeye Girls State. The most successful money making proiect the club sponsored was the sale of holly and evergreen at Christmas. The social highlight of the year was the Y-Teen formal which was held on March twenty-sixth. A trip to the United Nations is awarded to the iunior girl who accumulates the most service points during the year. Officers for the year were: president, Barbara Hartrurn, vice president, Donna Beatty, secre- tary, Marcia Bonnell, treasurer, Melanie Jones, advisor, Miss McCulley. FIFTY-EIGHT

Youth Red Cross The Youth Red Cross is an organization which offers students an opportunity to help others. An outstanding project this year was to provide two patients at the State Hospital cards and gifts on birth- days and holidays. For promoting world friendship another proiect was sending ditty-bags filled with everything from soap to candy to children in Viet Nam. The club also sponsored an after-game dance to raise money. The dues of an active member are Hfty cents, whereas the dues for inactive membership is any amount a student wishes to contribute to the Red Cross Fund Drive at the beginning of the year.
