Student Librarians Library Award Pins were earned by twenty-tour students who served as library assistants during the school year. Checking out books, taking attendance, straightening the shelves, taping new books, and assisting students in the periodical room were some of the duties performed by these assistants. Great Books Club The Great Books Club appeals to all who like to read. Members of the club read as many books as possible from a list of two hundred great books compiled by Clifton Fadiman, well known author and columnist. The list contains titles which Mr. Fadiman believes all students should read before graduation from high school. Audio Visual Aides 3 The Audio-Visual Aides are a group of students who operate the special education equipment in the various classes. This equipment consists of film pro- jectors, film strip proiectors, opaque projector, slide proiector, tape recorder, record player, and the over- head proiector. Each member of the club is trained in the operation and maintenance of this equipment and his service is greatly appreciated by students and teachers. The advisor is Mr. Ronk. Row 4. - Diane Nicolozakis, Doris Kemp, Carol Shelby, Jaunita Callihan. Y-Teens Among the most active organizations in Cambridge High School is the Y-Teen Club which is composed of one hundred and ninety-five sophomore, iunior and senior girls. Under the leadership of the president, Barbara Hartrum, this group has been involved in a number of pro- iects for the school, the community, and the girls themselves. They participated in the Forget-Me-Not sale and the Heart Fund drive, made contributions to TAPS and the Ohio District YWCA, presented the Easter chapel program, and co-sponsored a delegate to Buckeye Girls State. The most successful money making proiect the club sponsored was the sale of holly and evergreen at Christmas. The social highlight of the year was the Y-Teen formal which was held on March twenty-sixth. A trip to the United Nations is awarded to the iunior girl who accumulates the most service points during the year. Officers for the year were: president, Barbara Hartrurn, vice president, Donna Beatty, secre- tary, Marcia Bonnell, treasurer, Melanie Jones, advisor, Miss McCulley. FIFTY-EIGHT
