Choir Under their director, Mrs. Jean Engelhard, the Cambridge High School Choir has made many public appearances this year. In addition to the presenta- tion ot the annual spring concert, the choir sang tor the Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter programs at the high school and for Easter services at two of the churches in the community. Several members of the choir competed in the Music Contest held at Muskingum College in March. Girls' Glee Club Freshmen and sophomore girls compose the Girls' Glee Club and membership is attained by try-out. The basic principals of music are emphasized and the girls enjoy part time singing. The Glee Club sang for the fall induction of the National Honor Society. Mrs. Jean Engelhard is the director. Their work consists mainly of learning the basic principles and correct techniques of music. The Key Club, an international organization sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, is composed ot out- standing boys from the sophomore, iunior, and Key senior classes. Developing initiative and leadership in the members is the main obiective ofthe club. This year the members participated in many ' Wi service projects. They helped the Kiwanians with their annual peanut sale, and the pet show at the County Fair, painted the trash barrels which are placed around the school, and donated magazines to the State Hospital. On March twenty-second, the annual Key Club Career Day was held. Students were given an op- portunity to consult representatives of various voca- tions and to learn more about those in which they were interested. Paul Scott brought honor to the local club by being chosen District Secretary of Ohio Key Clubs. Mr. Charles Schaub is the faculty advisor for the club and Mr. Robert Tingle the Kiwanis advisor.
