These boys also contributed greatly in arousing the spirit at pep ral- lies and pep assemblies. The Brass Choir The Brass Choir is a group of selected brass players. It consists of four trumpets, four French horns, four trombones, two baritones and one tuba. Under the leadership of Mr. Eubanks, the group has played for school assemblies, various city churches, and civic club meetings. The Brass Choir was divided into two sextets for the Solo and Ensemble Contest. The Brass Sex- tet Number l received a superior rating, which made them eligible for the state contest. Brass Sex- tet II received a rating of excellent. The Orchestra The High School Orchestra with the High School Choir presented the Annual Spring Concert on May 19, 1966. The orchestra also participated in the program with the Junior High School vocal music groups. The music studied this year has been of symphonic character mainly although some of the present day musicals were also included. FORTY-FIVE
