Trying to help solve school problems, pro- moting better student-faculty relationships, and providing a proving ground for tomorrow's leaders are only a few of the aims of the student council. The council activities for the past year included the supervision of the election of the Homecom- ing Queen and her court, the planning of the Homecoming pre-game ceremonies and dance, supervision of the election of council members- at-large, class officers, and delegates to Buckeye Boys' and Girls' State. Other activities were the supplying of flags for thirteen home rooms, the bulletin board displays, letter exchanges with nearby schools, the Forgotten Patient proiect, the cafeteria clean-up campaign, and the student council member evaluation proiect, which was held at the end of the year. The council also operated the coat check room at all home basket- ball games, assisted in seating the student body for assemblies, sponsored an assembly, and com- pleted the school dinnerware service.
