Jones has been an oufsfanding leacher in fhe commercial deparfmenl of our school. She. foo. was on hand when The school was opened in l929. Previously she had faughf af Ebens- burg High School and af Ferndale High School. Many, many sfudenls who sfudied lyping, shorfhand, and clerical pracfice under her guid- ance have had successful secrefarial and business careers in our com- munify and fhroughouf fhe area. Miss Jones holds a bachelor of science degree from Slafe Teachers' College, Indiana. and she- has faken addifional work af fhe Universify of Piffsburgh. For many years she served as banking officer of fhe school's Cenfral Banking Office for exfracurricular funds. As a service for fhe enfire school, Miss Jones for many years was direcfor of 'rhe Cenlral Cambria Handbook. Truly, she had a big parf in esfalolishing our school.

A graduaie of Grove Ciiy College, Mr. Johnsion holds a masier's degree from The Universily of Piiisburgh. Before he came io Ebensburg 'rhir'ry-six years ago, 'rhe veieran edu- caior had laughl ai Sallsburg for four years. ln addiiion, he has served for many years as co-chairman of Jrhe Junior Red Cross in Cambria Couniy. BuT in The spring oT I'-742 he answered The call To arms by enlisTing in The Air Force, and he served unTil The spring of I945. ATTer a Tew weelcs oT Teaching aT Reade Township, he ac- cepTed The posiTion of CounTy DirecTor of VeTeran Affairs. ln This posiTion he guided and helped ex-servicemen oT Cambria CounTy. BUT The call of Teaching was Too sTronq. and in The Tall oT i958 he reTurned here as chemisTry Teacher. Mr. Gibb, a graduaTe oT The Pennsylvania STaTe UniversiTy, holds a masTer's degree Trom The- same insTiTuTion.
