DWINDLES TO GROUP OF H8 GRADUATES JUNIOR YEAR August 27-Now that Iim an upperclassman I really feel important. This will be Sept an outstanding year of my life. ember 17-How proud I am! Today I received my class rings. October 2-I have sent Carl Anderson, James Martin, Robert Knee, John Swope and Guy Tirabassi to Student Council. My officers are: James Martin, presi- dent, Thomas McHugh, vice president, Carol Moyer, secretary, Dolores Yaskowitz, treasurer, Russell Heffelfinger, assistant-treasurerg and Kim Rob- erts, chaplain. October 11-12-By selling candy and cookies during Institute I have become acquainted With many of the teachers of the county. February 22, 1952-The auditorium was packed as my play Cheaper BV the Dozenv went before the lights for the third time. The roars and howls for this play will ring in my ears for a long time to come. April 19-The money raised by my hard work and the time put in by my commit- tees really paid off as I danced to the music of Dave Dysart at the Junior- Senior Prom. The girls and boys looked wonderful in their lovely new gowns and neat suits. SENIOR YEAR September 1-Having reached the top of the ladder I can look forward to the events and decisions which will lead to my graduation. September 30-I have chosen these persons to serve on the Executive Committee: James Martin, Arlene Baldini, Janet Davison, Romaine Novak, Marcia Yezof quel, Virginia Poliziani, William Sides, Sam Fulton, and Earl Shoff. Mv officers are: James Martin, president, Robert Knee, vice president, Carol Moyer, secretary, Dolores Yaskowitz, treasurer, Guy Tirabassi, assistant treasurer, and Kim Roberts, chaplain. James Martin, Janet Davison, Robert Knee, Carl Anderson, John Swope, Carol McKenrick, and Dolores Yaskowitz have gone to Student Council. November 21-My class play Pride and Prejudicev went over very well. The authentic costumes were most becoming. December 20-Tonight I attended the annual Snow Ball, a gala event of the senior year. The proceeds go for the Oracle, May 1953-The senior banquet, my last social gathering, was held tonight at yVissinger's Inn. Baccaulaureate Services. At last, assembled before my parents, friends, and teachers for graduation, I cease to exist as a class. To the strains of Pomp and Circtnnstanee I march down these aisles for the last time and into the future. August 22, I9-19-Today. l, the Class of 1953. embarked upon my new adyenlure. that ol' launching my career at libensburg-CIambria lligh School. I walked with a firm step and appeared to be brave. but at the same time pondering my fate. Upon being assigned to my homerooms, and receiving the welcoming words of the teachers, 1 began to feel at ease. September 2-My 240 members gathered in the auditorium for my first ollicial meeting today. l elected a Constitution Committee and a temporary secre- tary. December 4-Ry now I feel right at home. l am a member of many organizations. Seven of mv girls are in Alpha, four in jean-Dix, and fourteen in girls' chorus. seven of nry members are in mixed chorus, ten on junior varsity basketball. and six on junior varsity football. February 24, 1950-I was justly proud of my talented 'igreeniesi' who displayed their abilities at the Freshman Talent Show today. March 3-Cuy Tirabassi and Robert Knee represent me in Student Council. Now familiar with school life, l could take my part with the 1ipperclassmcn. September l-Mv delegates to Student Council are Robert Knee. Guy Tirabassi, and james Martin. These persons will guide mv activities this year: Dwight Strunnn, presidentg james Martin. vice presidentg Carol Moyer. secretaryg Dolores Yaslcowitz. treasurerg Agnes Sobleskie. assistant treasurerg Kim Roberts. chaplain. November 7-Today l sponsored a movie at the Colver show. Many of my mem- bers attended to see i'Christopher Columbusf, December I6-My Christmas bazaar was a big success. All the articles sold were home-made. February l2, 1951-Proceeds from selling those Sunshine products. cards. wrap- ping paper, etc.. have really built up my treasury. March 30-Tonight was my big night. The music and was filled to capacity as l attended the annual Sophomore Party.
