September-Hi, gang! Gee ii's good to be back, isn't it? Say, aren't those freshmen a scream trying to find their way around? Sure- ly we weren't that green! I guess we upper- classmen will have to help them get ac- quainted. Yes, you can call us upperclassmen now, for we're the new Iunior Class. October-First and foremost are our officers -Nick Datsko was born to be the president of the Class of '45. Iohn Evanchick, our vice president, is always on his toes and gets his opinion in on every question. Vera Public is our very efficient secretary and Morrison Roberts, our treasurer, takes care of our large bank account. November-This being a football month, right now is a good time to give laurels to our junior lettermen, Bill Barber, Nick Datsko. Andy Kepich, Albert McCoy, and George Swalchick. Nice going, boys! Ah, next comes Thanksgiving vacation-short, as usual, but loads of fun. December-The junior Flamingo repre- sentatives, Bill Iones and Iean Griffith, are doing a whopping business selling those membership cards. Let's see now . . . two . . . three . . . four . . . five more months till school is out. Already the halls ring with this eternal phrase. Last, but not least,-comes the long and glorious Christmas vacation, lanuaty-Back to work with a vengeance. Those marks are going to come up or else. With this success spirit prevailing, the Col- ver juniors sponsor a benefit inovie. The re- sult? A success, of course! . . . The Dance Band played, and everyone had a wonderful time ..... Our Student Council members-Nick Datsko, Iohn Evanchick, Ed- ward Knee, lean Roberts, and Barbara Thomp- son-have taken office. Flash! George Swal- chick was just elected to the important role of all-state center! Congratulations, George. February-We're very glad to see Nick Datsko back after his long illness, and happy too because Nick, lean Anderson, Verna Wiz- niak, Paul Kane, Vera Public, and Barbara Thompson were elected to National Honor Society. March-Oh, agony! After a few weeks of anxious waiting we have our parts for the class play, Ask Me Another, the smash-hit of ECHS. Every evening of practice is chuck full of fun and laughs. April--Here it is . . . what we've all been waiting for, the Iunior-Senior Prom! Oh joy and gladness! Maybe all this excitement will wake up Eddie. It seems he can't stay awake in class-will you tell us. why, Eddie? May-When we come back next year. we'll be senile seniors, but right now every- one is saying, lt was a wonderful yearg I could live .it over again.
