Class H zstory August 30 l937 was an eventful day for the youngsters startlng to Cambrla Consohdated School for the f1rst t1me These pup1ls had the pr1v1 lege of belng the fxrst pr1mary students 1n th1s school Mlss Eleanor Tucker was the teacher who had as her puplls Ph1l1p Brown Verlon Metzger Carolyn Perluns Jeanette Turner Dav1d Woollls and Curtls Tuttle After the f1rst s1x weeks Frank Campbell and Irene W1ll1ams came then at the second semester R1chard Loney Jolned the group IVl1ss Mary Margaret Kmg was the new teacher for tnese same pup1ls the next school year When we were second graders Mxss Kathyrn Tuc er was the teacher Phxlxp Brown left the group and Dale McDougal Jomed the class When school txme rolled around agaln we found Mxss Roberta Baker as our teacher We lost CLITIIS Tuttle who moved away and gaxned Bob Kerr1ns and Cletta Garton In the fourth grade Bob Kerrlns left Leland Thomas Robert Everman and Emma W1ll1ams came Mxss M11dred Cloth1er was our teacher Our class attendance dropped durmg the next year as Cletta Garton Leland Thomas Dale McDougal Emma Wlllxams all moved away Donald Coffey and Ph1l1p Brown were here for s1x weeks Verlon Metzger dropped out of our class because of lllness Mrs Kelth ,lVlcW1ll1ams was our teacher that year Next year M1ss Blanche Coates was our teacher Robert Everman moved away Cletta Carton came back to JOIH us and Raymond Cox entered our grade M1ss Coates was st11l our teacher ln the seventh grade We had some new members added to our class th1s year they were Lowell Ch11es Marletta Klrchner Betty Jean Holm and also Leanna Cox who moved away after school was out 8 o 1 . 1 -1 . 1 2 2 1 ' 7. In the elghth grade we had some new members added to our class They were Charles Wznchell Curtxs Tuttle Gerald Vandenburg and Sh1rley Dav1s Lowell Chxles left during the year Mrs E W Ozlas was our teacher and mstructed our class play Ten Per Tommy In add1t1on to the four class eif Ill 1 la 3 fl H100 Raymond Cox Rxchard Loney Carolyn Perklns Cletta Garton Betty Jean Holm Mar1etta Kxrchner and Frank Campbell rece1ved the1r elghth grade d1plomas The next fall the same group entered the hxgh school as Freshmen Don Alhson was also w1th us that year Jeanette Turner left the group Super 1ntendent O 1as Mr Kxpper Mrs K1pper and M1ss Osborn were our 1n structors There were a few changes made durxng our Sophomore year Irene W1Il1ams got marr1ed and qu1t school Rex Moore entered our class and Cletta Garton left shortly before school was out Our mstructors for that year were Super1ntendent Dorsey M1ss Osborn Mlss McCreery Mrs La1ng and Mrs Fry In our Junlor year Sh1rley Davls left and Cletta Garton agaln Jolned us Our class play was ent1tled Good Grac1ous Grandma' Supermtendent Dorsey IM r Exley Mxss Vogan and Mrs Sayers were our 1nstructors There were some changes made ln our Sen1or Class as Dorls Sandeen Jo1ned us Our mstructors are Supenntendent Dorsey Mr Exley and Mrs Morgan 9 Y l ' ' ll ll ' ' M W. ..
