When asked to define a “good” student, our faculty responded: A good student is One who can put together the skills learned in high school (English, Math, Shorthand, Typing) to work efficiently in a business office. (Mrs. Conrad) Honest, Sincere, Respectful, and willing to learn; not necessarily a straight A student. (Dorothy Gooderham) One that does the best they can. (Mr. Brough) One who is interested, pleasant, positive who wants to learn. (Mr. Arnold) Any student with some ability or willingness to work. (Mr. Albright) One that always has his work done and is well disciplined. (Mrs. Yahner) One who has common sense and respect. (Mr. Tinnick) Cooperative, disciplined, and industrious. (Mr. Marshall) One that is interested, willing to accept work, curious, accepts challenges, neat with his work, and able to get along with his classmates. (Mr. Solomon) Industrious, respectful, and conscientious. (Ms. Mozina) One who is willing to try to learn and does the best job possible on whatever assignment he is working with. (Mr. Kerr) Consciencious, ambitious, and not lazy. (Mr. Douty) One that is a good citizen, participates, and adds to the educational value of the program. (Sergeant Konior) One who is responsible, wants to learn, and develops the skills necessary to learn independently. (Mr. Baran) One who tries hard. (Mr. Anna) Hardworking and cooperative. (Mr. Mehall) (Still trying to figure out after 6 years.) (Mr. Tom Boyle) Courteous, organized, and ambitious. (Mr. Link) Industrious and works hard, does all assignments, studies, and has good citizenship and character traits. (Mr. Schirf) Respectful to teachers and tries to do the best they possibly can at all times. (Mr. Sibert) One who participates in class, does his her homework, and doesn’t complain. (Ms. Janidlo) Courteous and self-disciplined. (Mrs. Bowman) Hard working, cooperative, dependable and respectful to his or her superiors. (Mr. Elias) Conscientious, and well disciplined. (Mr. Grembi) Self-disciplined and has self-control. (Mr. Eugene Boyle) One who does more listening than talking, is quiet, and who thinks first, then acts. (Mr. Pawlikowski) Conscientious, honest, optimistic and works up to his her potential. (Mrs. Yablinsky) Enthusiastic about learning and performs to their ability. (Mr. Murphy) Full of life, spirit, and initiative, good humored, and is constructive. (Mrs. Murphy) One who doesn’t necessarily achieve high grades but puts forth an honest effort and has a positive attitude. (Mrs. Grybosky) Someone who works to his potential. (Mr. Gormish) One who has his lesson prepared, participates in class, and works ahead. (Mrs. Kolonay) One who takes interest in his studies and does not sit back. (Mrs. Hmel) Hard working, industrious, and able to get along with fellow students. (Mr. Bakajza) One who does his work and has time to be involved in extra curricular activities. (Mr. Bern) Disciplined and conscientious. (Mr. Angelotto) Curious with common sense. (Mr. Laurito) One who is polite and conscientious.
