When Nora Zumovitch died on November 27, 1974, a terrible shock of grief swept through us all. Looking back now on Nora’s death, we still feel a twinge of sadness when we remember the joy and laughter that were so much a part of Nora. Our Class Ring symbolizes the ring of friendship that all students share. Most buy their class ring during the sophomore year so that they can enjoy it for their remaining years in high school and for the rest of their lives. Even with the continued rising prices of class rings, stu- dents still buy them. Sometimes we wonder why. But when we have that ring and it is our very own, we know the answer. In future years, our class ring will remind us of the fun, laughter, and friendship we had at Cambria Heights Senior High School. 4
