The senior class extends its thanks to the members of the joint school board, whose forward thinking and constant planning have made our years at Cambria Heights more productive. The board is responsible for the efficiency with which our joint school district is managed, and the class takes this opportunity to express our appreciation. Your formal elementary and secondary education will end with graduation in May. Our task is com- pleted; we have attempted to instill in you those attributes of citizenship which will serve you in the future. Congratulations. We leave you with this thought; You have each been given a bag of tools, A formless rock and a book of rules, And each must make ere life has flown, A stumbling-block or a stepping-stone.”
