WW. NHS, CSC ACTIVE We wanted to ha ve as many activities as possible to get all the students at Cal- vert involved, said Student Council president Ann Krupp. We hoped our actions would benefit the community as well as our school. With these goals the Council spon- sored a Superdance to benefit the Mus- cular-Dystrophy Association. Other activities ofthe Council were the sale of Thank- you -grams, candy canes and carnations. At Christmas-time they were engaged in caroling and collecting for Right to Life. The National Honor Society also played an important role in student life. Several school events were the Sadie Hawkins dance, baking Christmas cook- ies for the Raculty and staff a sock hop and the tutoring program. Activities outside of school included the School of Opportunity Homecoming, the ringing of bells for the Salvation Army and raising of money for the Na- tional Heart Foundation. A.
