Xu' xi C P + In his second year at Calvert Hall, Brother Stephen Pleva has done much to raise the already high academic standards. By establishing a modern teaching system, Brother is preparing students for a successful future in college. Brother Stephen received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Catholic University of America. He earned a M.S. in Chemistry as a result of graduate study at the University ot Maryland. Frequently seen in the cor- ridors, Brother has displayed ardent interest in school activities. Brother John Charles Moore has held the office of Assistant Principal tor the past three of his seven years at Calvert Hall. He, also, has been an influential figure in the adoption of the new Modular System. Serving his duties as Assistant Principal, Brother is responsible for the maintenance of the school property and building. ln the past, Brother John has filled the position of Chairman of the English Department and teacher of Senior English. ' ln assuming duties as Administra- tive Assistant, Mr. Mitchell is respon- sible for the organization ofthe newly established Modular System and has contributed all efforts to make it a success. Along with his new position, Mr. Mitchell has remained a teacher ot Biology. He previously taught literature to seniors and was modera- tor of the, CARDINAL AND GOLD. Mr. Mitchell coordinates the gradua- tion exercises.
