By keeping a record of all college preparatory examinations and individual interviews, Brother has a keen insight into the life of each senior and iunior. Brother William's advice has proved priceless to many seniors regarding their selection for academic advancement. Finding meaning in one's life is a necessity for fulfillment. ln this confused world where internal pressures and problems tax a man's convictions, it is mandatory that an outside agency enter and show the way. All men need guidance at one time or another in order to find themselves. Through guidance counselors in each of the four departments, the school chaplain, and each homeroom instructor, Calvert Hall assists its students in developing a true sense of realization. Personal interviews with department guid- ance leaders or homeroom teachers are just a few of the means that the faculty at Calvert Hall helps the students find themselves. , , . Father Staub replaced Father Rowan, who was called upon to offer full-time assistance to his parish. Reverend Stalb, who carries on his pastoral duties at Saint Thomas More Parish, offers Mass bi-weekly in the student chapel. In cooperation with the religion department, Father also headed the underclass retreat in February. Close contact with the students was achieved through talks given to each department. And Father maintained a close relationship with the individual student through hearing confessions and holding private interviews. GUIDANCE
