BROTHER STEPHEN PLEVA, F.S.C., M.A. PRINCIPAL ADMINISTRATICJN Assuming the duties as Principal of Calvert Hall, Brother Stephen Pleva replaced Brother Elrick Paul who, after serving as Director for four years, was appointed Provincial of the Brothers' Schools in the Baltimore District. Brother Stephen attended the Catholic University of America and 'graduated in 1947 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. He continued his graduate studies at the University of Maryland, earning his M.S. in Chemistry. Since taking his final vows as a Brother of the Christian Schools, Brother has served at West Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Saint Joseph's High School of New York and as Principal of LaSalle High School of Ammendale, Maryland. In his brief tenure at CHC, Brother's congeniality and friendship have already endeared him in the minds and hearts of all Hall students.
