Navy China Missionary to men in The foreign field is calling for the missionary who knows his position in Christ according to Romans He knows that he has been to Calvary with Jesus. that the old the believer is seated the authority of His every seeming defeat six and Ephesians two. man has been buried with Him and that with Christ in-the heavenlies and shares throne. He has learned how to insist on turning into good by hanging satan on his own gallows. For our mutual adversary has many devices. He may be recognized by: I. Mental oppression. Extreme melancholy which is always present. 2. Confusion of mind. It becomes very difficult to make a decision, and even after it is made, there is always a question mark in the mind, 3. Unwarranted discouragement 4. Imaginations of coming or present evils that do not nor never will exist. 5. Physical disorders brought on by satan walking in on overwrought nerves. 6. Murmuring spirit among natives and fellow workers. 7. Satanic iealousies that grow out of nothing. In fact, he will do all those things that a supreme liar, thief and destroyer can conceive against the saints. He goes about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he MAY devour. Whom resist steadfast in the faith. Spiritual warfare is . exactly the same as physical warfare. The enemy is just as real and the battle just as fierce. There is, however, a marked dif- ference in the weapons.-II Cor. IO:4 The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds. As one would resist an intruder in his home. so spiritually one arises in his spirit and in the name of Jesus, he commands the devil and all of his satanic hosts to depart. All hell knows that satan must move when resisted in the Victor's Mrs. Marion McCoy name- Kenya Colony, East Africa There are two great human forces which are to be joint-heirs with Christ in holding the fort and making foreign missions triumphant. They are equally important. They are the missionary who goes and the missionary who stays. I.istenI they share alike. Both in the labor, the heartache, the battle, the faithing. and the reward. All one people we. We shall all come rejoicing I together bringing in the sheaves. Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to TRIUMPH in CHRIST. -Mrs. A, E. Mitchell GO-YE Fellowship .. Foreign lVlissions Triumphant It is one ot the wonders ot the ages that the Almighty God ot heaven and earth needs men, mere men, to help Him: to help Him in the greatest ot all programs, that ot bringing a run-away world back home. Back to the Father's house. He made a plan which was executed at Calvary by which man may be in- dwelt by God and tilled with the power ot the Holy Spirit. To all such, He commands UGO . Happy is that man who is commissioned N to labor in the very hardest and most needy ' part ot the tield, that place where satan's seat is. This man has the supreme privilege ot prov- ing God and causing a heathen world to know that Jesus Christ, the Victor, overcame the enemy at Calvary, stripped him ot his power and set all ot his captives tree. Even the down- trodden untouchables ot india may know that 1 they are tree and tree INDEED. M. clM.HbtM'th-ll dD'd I. I Y an 5,,:,ja,,a'uDEiCh Egg? lidgein avi The Spirit ot the Lord is upon me, be- cause He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor: He hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering ot sight to the blind. -Luke 4:4. One day the 'Captain ot our Salvation' walked into a synagogue in His home town, took the Book, and read aloud these words trom the Old Scriptures. Then He sat down and quietly explained to the people that these were no longer words ot prophecy but tultilled tacts. A missionary must have this same anointing because his commission is exactly the same as his Master's. ln order to accomplish this precious ministry, those who go to the toreign tield must know facts. The tact that Jesus absorbed within Himselt all that the enemy brought in-sin, sorrow, and death-and took all on Calvary with Him. That now every captive and bruised one ot India. bleeding China, devil over-ridden Africa, yea, all the broken hearted ot every land and every tongue are set tree. lt the Son therefore shall make you tree, ye shall be tree indeed. The triumphant 'foreign missionary must be one who knows that the devil is a defeated toe. He must live in the good ot this tact in the home land betore he ever sets toot on toreign soil. He has become a mighty warrior who knows his strength and authority over all the powers ot darkness.-Luke lO:I9. He has learned by continual use, to master his weapons and to wield them with certainty. He knows the toe and recognizes him, not withstanding that toe's camouflage as he appears as an angel ot light. The triumphant missionary has developed a sixth sense that teels, smells, and senses the presence and the work ot satanic powers. He knows what to do about it.
