CALVARY .... WHERE LIFE BEGINS CA-LVARY This tirst year at Calvary College has been a time otlbuilding. The tirst bricks have 'been laid upon the foundation ot a structure which is not only an institution ot learning, but a I-Ioly place ot prayer and instruction in God's Word. The strength and durability ot any building depends upon the tounclation and at Calvary College the toundation is Jesus Christ and I'Iis Word. Building on The Rock we know that all is right and no matter how hard the winds may blow, or the waves may beat against the Rock .... I-Ie will never tail! It has been the privilege of the students ot Calvary College this tirst year to start building from this foundation. With a taculty, such as ours, teaching the whole Word ot God, and a student body ot young men and women, wanting more than any- thing else in all the world to know Jesus and to be in the center ot I-Iis will, we know that the tirst bricks in this Spiritual building have been correctly laid. Every faculty member and student has the same vision, and with Paul each one says, For I determined not to know anything among you, save Jesus Christ and I-lim crucified . I Cor. 222. Student government at Calvary College otters increased training to each Christian worker who desires to be tully equipped tor duty in the harvest tields ot lite. Learning to obey those in authority as well as knowing how to lead others etticiently is splendid preparation in building the student's own character and in helping others also build, as that student graduates and steps out into God's service. The student otticers each term consist ot President, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. These working under the direction ot the taculty serve the student body in all otticial business.
