Let us be one to lift the other fellow up-let us give the helping hand-anyone can trod the other fellow undertootf' Many times in the past year have we heard such words flow trom the lips of Miss Jordan, Dean ot Calvary College. l-ler lite has been a real testimony not only to the saving power ot our Lord but also to His healing and keeping power. She has remained ever taithtul to her calling. We as students would do well to tollow in her footsteps, for they tollow closely in the steps ot the Master. ln the spirit of true love for the brethren has she admonished us, encouraged us,-always litting the standard high and pointing toward it-lest we forget. Now through the precious blood of Christ we are called the Sons of God. What infinite love that we should be brought into this high estate, and yet God longs to give us more . . He wants us to know His friendship. To bring us into this deeper knowledge in Christ has been the theme of our Dr. Gray's ministry. As Pastor of Calvary Church he has steadily implanted in the hearts ofthe people that desire to know our Saviour better and has been rewarded by seeing that Spiritual growth which results in the Fruits of the Spirit. As President of Calvary College he has endeared himself in the heart of every student for his teaching of that life with Christ which knows no boundaries in its joy, love, fellowship, and service. Franlc C. Thompson D.D., Ph.D. Privileged indeed is that college which can claim as its Honorary Dean such a man as Dr. Frank C. Thompson. Our Saviour said Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends . And God commendeth HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Love always sacrifices, and so Christ passed the commandment on to us Love one another, as I have loved you . One of the sweetest examples of fulfilling this commandment is found in the life of our Dr. Thompson. l-le gave one of life's greatest treasures, his eyesight, for others, and now depends upon as always, and is assisted, by his sterling and faithful helpmate -Laura Thompson.
