Most study hard and finish the courses successfully without fanfare but there are a few who stand out in the crowd, who are much more dedicated to their work than the average man and woman in school. As a special reward for their dedication and extraordinary effort, the faculty of Calvary has made these presentations at the close of the senior year. Many students elect to take a summer between semesters to get missionary experience. Four students decided to take this course of action this year. Adrienne Porter, upper left, who finished school at Christmas, traveled to Glenn Allen, Alaska under the Far Eastern Gospel Crusade. She made her stay during the cold months of 1977 at radio station KCAM . John Sims, upper right, also with FEGC at KCAM, chose to make his trip during the warmer summer months. Rick Gallagher, right, who attended candidate school at Gospel Missionary Union last summer, will work in Austria . But the Lord has truly been merciful and gracious in helping us all overcome the obstacles to progress. Cal- vary grew by 5O students this year and we expect to see another 50 added to the enroll- ment this fall. God has blessed our school richly in making it prosper so greatly. Several new additions to dormitory space are being prepared and remodeled. But don't stop pray- ing! Remember, God accomplishes things ,far - st ra through prayer and we surely can't allow him to be left out of the picture. One staff member, more than all the others, helped me put this book together. Her patient perseverance, quiet understanding, and very hard work and dedica- tion have established her in my mind as a key figure in this past year. This yearbook is, therefore, dedicated to Miss Doris Wehr, year- book advisor. Your Editor, Mark Pearson 1. 1. l r It, 1- L Lg. . I if rt., 114-- yur. il uf VJ., F . I . . fe-5' ,- 'J 4 Q' .
