Always has it been said that in their eager young hands lay the golden opportunity of making the future world the right kind of place-the kind of world in which each individual may live in peace and harmony with his fellow man, with a fair and just chance for everyone. To the graduating class of nineteen hundred and forty-six, this same mes- sage holds more meaning than ever before in world his . The young people who are going out to yt ceptl e responsibilities of the new world have training of the very best. Having lived through these past turbulent, history-filled years, they have attained a clarity of thinking, a strong courage to overcome seemingly unsurmountable obstacles, a firmness of purpose and a fair, tolerant, humane at- titude which will make the great ideal of the good neighbor policy become a reality instead of empty, idle words. The class will have a great need of all their courage and resourcetulness to meet the op- portunities and problems awaiting them in this new atomic era of peace. Holding their high ideals aloft, and with confidence and fearlessness in their hearts, they will triumphantly march forward, ready and willing to meet the challenges of the future!
