The class of February, 1946, the first peace-time grad- uating class since 1941, was one of the smallest in the history of Calumet. Its small size accounted for the warm friendships and atfability which characterized its four years here. No one can ever forget those first bewildering days at Cal, or those last glorious ones before graduation. Then, as the last strains of the recessional faded away, nostalgia and sadness swept over the graduates, tor though their years here had been War years, they had been happy ones. The graduates had many memories to take with them, some joyful, others sad. But all these remembrances went to make up their high school years. The class carried honors with it, leaving the succeeding one an enviable record to uphold. The teachers and students will not soon forget the .class of February, 1946.
