'HE FIDE HR in Calumet's Swing Band THE BHHD alumet's Band is an organiza- tion oi which the school is proud. Perhaps some mem- bers will find their way eventually into the great Military Bands of the Nation. At present. band members are learning military disci- pline and aiding the War effort by playing at Defense Rallies. UREHESTRH ecreation is important in War. Talented students of Calumet have an outlet for their pent-up emotions in the Orchestra. The music depart- ment ol Calumet has done much to help boost the morale ot our fighting iorces by playing for many Def tense Rallies. Page 27
