HLL FHTIERICFID PUBLICHTIOI1 340 jnlbl all JANUARY . . . Click . . . click . . . copy . . . pencils . . . damp brows and weary brains that will sigh with relief when the Temulac is published in June . . . Ranting, raging editors, deadlines, more copy, touselled hair, shiny noses, heckled typists, frayed tempers . . . the Temulac staff is on parade, Informality is the theme of the annual. All the clubs, organ- izations, and activities of the students are rounded up bv the juniors and seniors that make up the Temulac staff. Temperamental artists, broken down copy writers, super eager salesmen, advertising solicitors and itty bitty six-foot errand boys are often excited but never bored as they gather the materials that may eventually turn out to be the 1941 annual. JUNE . .. Miracles do occur . . . the Temulac staff can bear witness to that. Only a miracle could have delivered the 1941 annual from the printer. Members of the literary department call atten- tion to the copy they have written, and the entire staff sighs with relief to see their labors at last bound between covers. Each page recalls memories of the work which had been a part of every day. It is hard to believe that out of the general haste, confusion, and chaos of the two past semesters, there should emerge a book such as this, but here is tangible proof. The Temulac staff is happy to present to the student body of Calumet, the NINETEEN FORTY-ONE TEMULAC. Page 2 0
