THE TEMULAC the yearbook of tomorrow ln the future when we open the l94O Temulac, again We shall hear the jangle of the bells and the bustle of the corridors at Calumet. Again we shall see in a passing pageant faces of faculty members who watched and prayed over our academic progress. faces of football stars who kept the maroon and blue Waving high, and faces of classmates who will be dearest of all in the future which will hold our memories. And we shall be reminded of the Crier that came out on Tuesdays, making that somehow different from Monday or even Friday, and of our clubs that promoted scholarship, honor, loy- alty, dependability, as well as provided fun and recreation. Of the lunchroom where We met and ate with friends amid the deafening clatter of dishes and cutlery, and the equally deafening clack. clack of feminine shrieks, mingled with a mighty masculine roar booming above all the rest. Ah yes, as we shall turn the pages of our Temulac, memory pictures will flash before our eyes with kaleidoscopic swiftness and happy tears of longing will fill our eyes as we close the covers and return it to its accustomed place on our book shelves. But how happy and proud we shall be, to claim this Temulac, this Family Album, as our very own.
