The Leaders of the February Class Assemble OFFICERS WALTER Tl'llMM .,.. ,,,,,., ,,,,,,,,,,,,,, P r esident WILLIAM GOOCH .... .,....... V ice-President VIOLET DANlELSQN ...., .r..,....,, S ecretary RAYMOND MEYER .,,. ,,,..,, T reasurer RAYMOND MEYER, WILLIAM GOOCH, VIOLET DANIEL4 SON, WALTER TI-HMM. The February class of 1938 may well feel proud of its 265 members, for in scholastic ability this was one of the finest classes that Calumet has ever known. Leading in scholarship we find Elaine Roy, Valedic- torian, and following closely behind her, Violet Danielson, salutatorian. Alfred Schnoor was class orator. Glancing through some well known names in this class, we came to George Raymond, who deserves congratulations for winning an Armour scholarship. For their invaluable aid in the publishing of several annuals, we are deeply indebted to Shirley Sawallisch and Elaine Roy. Betty Stadem and Violet Danielson were outstanding as editors-in-chief of the Crier, and Charles Acker as circulation manager. This class will long be remembered as one of Calumet's most progressive.
