It is a student organization formed for the purpose of enforcing the rules of the school. Cases of dis- order in the halls are brought up before the Council, which passes judgment on the cases and decides the penalties. Mrs. Sanders, who originated the Honor Council, is its able faculty adviser. The Council is composed of twenty seniors chosen by Mrs. Sanders for their high scholarship, their service to Calumet, and their general reputation in the school. The othcers of last semester were Max Fenneman, chairman, and Margaret Blocki, secretary. This semester Ralph Earlandson is the chairman and Helen Nyberg, secretary. The Honor Council is a traditional organization of Calumet and as one group of seniors graduates, another group is ready to take up the reins and carry on the good work of the Council. Eighty-.Yine
