These clubs. with a total membership of fifty-two, meet every second Friday. XVith active pro- gram committees, headed bv Arvada Roche for the second period and Marv Jane jones for the third period, all the meetings were crowded with interesting events. Spanish songs, stories, and jokes livened the programs. Entertaining and instructive talks were given by members of the clubs. Interesting and amusing letters from correspondents in Mexico and South America were received during the semester. The members of the clubs are much indebted to Miss Korten, teacher of advanced Spanish, whose untiring edorts have added to the success of the clubs. Um' lllllliffftl .S'i'.r!i'i'v1

The club also had a-n impressive ceremonial for the initiation of the new members and theinstallation of officers. Recently the girls belonging to the G. R.
