It now has a membership of .ig freshmen and :B girls. Meetings are held every Monday morning during fourth period in room 319, where events of the week and any 'new plans for the future are discussed. First row: Richard Czimer, Robert Ordway, Eugene Miller, Harry Lytton, Lester Oppenheim, lvar johnson, Paul Maskell, Richard Fernwalt, Thomas Kerr, Boys' Junior Chorus The Boys Chorus is an accredited music class of IA and IB boys. The course con- sists of voice training through vocal exercise, the arrangement of parts, soprano, alto. tenor and bass, special attention being given to each individual voice. Other phases of music which are emphasized in this chorus are ear training, sight singing, the spelling and pronouncing of chords, a-nd song interpretation. This year the boys gave two numbers for a Parent-Teachers Association program, assisted in a Christmas assembly, and Caroled in the halls during Christmas week. They assisted the commercial geography department at their assembly by singing two num- bers, O'er Irish Hills, to the tune of the old Londonderry Air, and Carry Me Back to Old Virginnyf' By the time these boys have earned their music credit their voices will be in fine condition to enter the Mixed Chors, if they so desire.
