Secretary The C Girls Club was organized in September, 1928, under the leadership of Miss O'Leary. Its purpose is to encourage activity in sports among girls. Only girls who have earned a major letter by obtaining the necessary iooo G. A. A. points may belong to this club. CU Mens Club The UC Mens Club, one of the strongest organizations in the school, has among its members some of the best men of Calumet, men who have earned major letters for participation in some sport. The club strives to promote clean sportsmanship among the student body and strives to aid in all matters that will beneht the school. The C Mens Club meets twice a month under the sponsorship of Mr. Burger. They presented to the school the huge letter C that adorns the curtain in our assembly hall. They helped to stamp from our school all alien letters and leave only the Calumet as the letter to be cherished and honored by all the students.
