Though the club is the small- est in several years, it has accomplished a good deal. The meetings. held at the Englewood Y Monday nights, are eapably supervised by fvlr. Hopper, formerly teacher at Calumet but now transferred to Senn High. About live home meetings in the form of soeials were held during the semester. In April Mr. Wolcott, the noted boys' Qpeaker, was Secured by the club to speak at the boys' assem- bly. Another interesting speaker talked about Alaska. Tujl row: Vincent Carlson, Charles Popham, Edwin Olsen, Roy Mosley, XVillard Lillroth. Fzrit rout Howard Anderson, George Quandee, Donald Hamilton, John Scott, Fred Benseman, Elliott Suttle. Junior Hi-Y OFFICERS Full Sl'Il1I'S1't'7' Spring Sl'H1f'Sff'l' Edwin Teach President Elliott Surtle Robert White Vice-president Richard Jewell Donald Hamilton , Secretary , Richard McCormack John Scott , . Treasurer. , . Jean Scott The Junior Hi-Y is a club composed of freshman and sophomore fellows, having the same platform and aim as the Senior Hi-Y. The Junior Club has eighteen active members, being slightly larger than the Senior Club. Thev co-operated with the other club in securing the speaker for the April boys, assembly, Mr. Wfoleott. On May 17, a Mother and Son Banquet was staged iointly with the Senior Hi-Y. The idea of a Mother and Son banquet was rather novel, but it was .1 huge success. More than seventy people atended the aifair. Robert XVhite, president of the Senior Club, acted in the capacity of toastmaster. Miss Melody was the principal speaker of the evening. The regular meetings are held every Wednesday' night at the Englewood Y. Several house meetings and a social in June varied the programs enough to make every meeting interesting. To Mr. Hopper, faculty adviser of the two clubs, is due much of the success the clubs have experienced. Niziety-Niize
