CHORUS SINGS OUT LOUD The 1989 Spring Choral con- cert was a huge success. It in- cluded six solos, one each by Dawn DeLaCruz, Kellie Hos- kins, Marsha Witham, Michelle Freguson, Michelle Kuscera, and Tracy Raub. Also included was a duet by Dawn DeLaCruz and Tammy Meulmans. An in- teresting touch to the night was a performance by Michelle Kus- cera, Claudette Neri, and Tracy Painter; they sang “Poor Man Lazerus” in acapella. a. Choir members perform one of their songs for their audience, b. Tracy Raub performs her solo “When Whoevers in New England.” c. Reatha Williams sings her solo for the audience. 22 CHOIR

DRAMA PERFORMS COMEDY SKITS The Drama Club performed comedy skits in the tradition of the old Carol Burnett show. There were fifteen skits about different situations in life. A few of the skits involved married couples, the eld- erly, etc. The comedy skit format allowed many students to shine as stars in their own skit. Not one student was the sole star of the show. However, as in the past, seniors Dianne Bogdan, Dan Stadt, and Shane Lowden did a fine job, as did the other members of the cast. a. Is this a prediciton of the future for Dianne Bogdan and Dan Stadt? b. Shane Lowden displays his love of nature by ‘stomping through the tulips.’ c.
