During the winter, the band provided pep at all home bas- ketball games. With the lack of numbers on a football field a team is helpless. One good example is the Warriors J.V. and Freshman Football teams. The Junior Varsity ended their season with 9 and 6 record and the freshmen won two games, lost two games and tied another. One thing about the Warriors is that they never quit. Even with the lack of numbers the people that stay with it are still winners in many peo- ples’ hearts. a. Sophomore Greg Chandler calls out the signals to his team. b. JV VOLLEYBALL STRUGGLES THROUGH SEASON The JV volleyball team struggled through a tough season this year. They finished with a 2-15 record. They also finished fourth in the Clark Invitational and fifth in the IH- SAA Sectionals. There were only four seniors on the squad, so the Warriors should be a strong team in the future. If there was a bright side to the season it was Most Valuable Player Dale Rader. He finished the season with a 6-9 record and was the leader of the team. Coach Gobbie went into the sea- son with the idea that whether they won or lost, they were just going to have fun.
