Fall ’82 book arrives at CHS Ooh’s and ah’s filled the Calumet fieldhouse foyer air on September for the annual yearbook signing party. Students from all grades at CHS gathered to “check out” the 1982 Chieftain yearbook. Smiling faces greeted the pages of the book with the theme “Fitting In,” which symbolized the need for acceptance and the close community spirit. The eight pages of activities and twelve pages of color portraits, { mrchased by the Senior Class, ent color to the annual. Students crack those books! What do you wanna’ be when you grow up? Are you finding it difficult to make that life decision? Consider the following: curriculum offering a variety of courses in general, vocational, business and academic areas. Besides just instruction in readin’ writin’ and ’rithmetic, students with a flair for the ar- tistic were able to choose from courses offered in the fine arts area. Therefore, whether choosing to be a doctor, lawyer, or In- dian chief, students found a variety of courses offered to at- tain these goals for the future.
