Seniors ‘go wacky’ in ’81 For the first time in over fifteen years, the Senior Class at CHS presented a class play. In the spring, the 1981 class performed “Be Happy, Go Wacky!” The production was given on April 10 at 7 p.m. and during fifth and sixth hours. The story was based on a family with mischievous twins who lived by the title’s motto, “Be Happy, Go Wacky!” Senior Bobbi Jo Jones served as student director. Michael Wertz was assistant director and prompter. Daphne Schoon was the cast’s business manager. Miss Johnnie McCray was spo nsor for the production. Grads gather at CHS gala Soon to be graduates, members of the Class of 1981 attended the annual Senior Banquet on May 6 at Tiebels restaurant. Awards for scholarship, attendance, cheerleading, and health occupations were given at the dinner. Gag awards were also presented. Miss Johnnie McCray served as sponsor for the class.
