Pasta patrons attend supper Office Education Associa- tion (OEA) turned patrons Italian on March 12, when they prepared their annual supper. The event was held in the school cafeteria from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Group members prepared the meal for students, staff and community members. According to Miss Eva Simic, sponsor, approxi- mately 350 people attended the dinner. Proceeds from the supper were used to send OEA qualifiers to the national competition in Texas. Classes don greasepaint A evening of one act plays was presented on April 3 and 4 by the CHS Drama Department. All participants were enrolled in drama classes at Calumet. The program consisted of three plays entitled, “The Bad, The Worse, and The Broccoli,” “The Monkey’s Paw” and “The Incredible Bulk of Bikini Beach.” Performances were held in the school auditorium. Mr. Paul Borlick, class instructor, served as director of the productions. Top: Characters listen to Chad Planer, jun- ior, (Sgt. Major Morris) who explains the mystery of the Monkey’s Paw. Below: Jeff Morton, junior, (Johnny) tries to bribe junior Dale Lane (the judge) while Peggy Krejci (Ruby Diamond) watches.
