Richard s Playboy Club! Is Participation Although academics have first call on student life, organizations also play an important part. It is through organizations that students are able to take on the responsibilities re- quired of social life. Organizing fund-raising drives, sponsoring a dance, and putting on a car wash are among some of the projects which give students a chance to take part in club activities. It is their opportunity to meet peo- ple, and to learn to work and coop- erate with them. It is the main objective of organi- zations to get the students to take an active part in school affairs. They combine interest and work into bene- ficial programs. After all, happiness is participating. 7 i
