DECK DEPAR TMENT LT D. M. IHLE DEPARTMENT HEAD Deck Department provides the final direct service that makes CALOOSAH A TCHEE a truly multiproduct one stop shopping center for customer ships. The Deck Divisions, composed of First and Second Division, consists of Boatswain Mates and Seaman. They provide for the maintenance and operation of all the rigging associated with the Standard Tension Replenishment Alongside Method CSTREAMJ Fueling and Transfer Stations. In addition, the Deck Divisions provide for the hull maintenance and operation of the four boats and maintenance of most of the exterior ships hull. Third Division is the Weapons Divi- sion. This division consists of Gunners Mates and Fire Control Technicians. They provide for the maintenance and operation of the 3 f 50 caliber, Fire Control Equip- ment, and small arms on board. In addition by providing safe stowage of Cargo Ordnance, maintenance of associated handling equipment and maintenance of the cargo magazines, they make cargo ordnance available for customer ships.
