The Sfudenf Council has fhe aufhorify fo make decisions and puf info effecf any rule or laws which fhey may deem necessary, alfhough fhey are subiecf fo fhe approval of fhe whole Associafed Sfudenf Body. One decision fhaf was made fhis year was fhaf fhere should be fwo policemen af all dances and acfivifies. Ofher fhings passed by fhe council were fhe awarding of afhlefic bloclcs and fhe designafing of game concessions fo various classes and organizafions. Officers for fhe fall semesfer were Keafs Marshall, presidenfg George Foufs, vice presidenfg Eleanor Sfevens, freasurer: Helen Fisher, secrefary. The only changes made in fhe spring semesfer were Ken Mancini, presidenf: and Don Gafes, vice presidenf. Two new offices were creafed fhis year. A Rally Com- missioner and an Afhlefic Commissioner. Tish Hivley and Ed Franzen were fhe firsf sfudenfs fo hold fhese offices. The money fhe sociely received wenl' foward lhe purchasing of new a'l'hle'l'ic equipment Bloclr C held a card parfy al 'lhe Fairgrounds lo gain more mone for lheir alhlefic fund.
