CWU dominated the game except for the opening minutes as the Tritons scored first. Wayne Clark continued his pin- point passing as he hit on 8 of 16 for 172 yards. His chief targets were Eric Widmark and All- Coast Honorable Mention jim Antl, each who took in three. Steve Minaldi continued boom- ing punts for long yardage with three for an average of 44.7 yards per punt. In order for the quarterback to have a good year, he needs time to throw the ball.
