Dear Mother, Well I'm here and I like it a lot although I miss you, and the kids, and your cooking and looking after me. I'm sorry you couldn't come with dad and me because I know you would have enjoyed seeing the place. The pictures I'-rn sending will help, and you will be coming soon so you'll see everything, but I sort of felt funny when I left. The sophomores took that out of me soon-with the haircut and all.- 'You should have seen my haircut. A couple of the boys came for me and I thought it was just another paddling. They blindfolded me and took me into a room and then I heard the scissors and it was too late to do anything-but it's all in fun. Anyway we are really getting into the swing of things now, with classes starting and all. The faculty here, what I know of it, is a pretty nice group.
