CSUS’s Instructional Programs Offer Academic Challenges and Opportunities The strength of the University’s instructional program is the commitment of its faculty to teaching and undergraduate education. Full professors, teaching at all class levels, bring with them just the right blend of theoretical training and professional experience. CSUS students are not lost in a vast educational machine as is often the case at many other large collegiate institutions. The University’s reputation of “Big, but not too big’’ is well illustrated in the classroom. Class size is less than what would be expected in a university the size of CSUS.
