Dean Margaret McKoane also attend- ed the three day meeting. College Union This year the committee conducted a careful study of our own program in order to be able to equip the co llege union appropriately. Forms are being drawn up which will explain in detail the facilities required in the college union building. The site for the college union building will be at the south end of the campus. The committee, composed of students, faculty, and administrative officers, worked on a fully detailed operation and maintenance budget covering revenue and expenses for at least three years in advance. Cash resources from the student body and the Hornet Foundation are available to help meet the con- struction costs, fiscal agency fees, and architectural fees. The purposes of the organization include cooperating with the ASSSC in all matters pertaining to student life on campus. Various campus mei functions are sponsored and participated in during the year, including a Fashion Show, Big-Little Sister Program, and publication of Herky Handbook and an Activity Calendar. A Woman's Day was initiated during the Spring oe Semester. This was the third and most active year of AWS on the Sacramento campus. Dean Margaret McKoane is the group sponsor. Cabinet members plan a campus activity.
