Time is of the utmost importance in the life of a college student. From the time he enters college until the end of his formal education, he is constantly being confronted by registration time, study time, organization time, social activities time, and, occasionally, eating time. Time is also spent in anticipation, day dreams, and the building of high hopes for the future. The college student learns early that time is @ young person's greatest wealth; it is his to dissipate or to make productive. The Time Is 1963 when Sacramento State College showed a dramatic increase in student enrollment. Regular and limited students totaled 7,455 at Fall registration. A new, modernistic art building was completed for classes in the Fall. In the future S.S.C. is planning an additional music-speech building and greater science facilities. This STATESMAN will recall to you the comparatively short time spent in classes and on campus at Sacramento State. The ticking of a clock might well be a constant reminder of the most important thing in the world—the passing of time; a reminder that the opportunity which today presents will never be repeated. The time is 1963—your year and your STATESMAN.
