They acted as guides and hosts to campus visitors, and worked hard to carry on a continuing pro- gram to initiate and preserve traditions for Sacramento State. Homecoming, with its Bonfire Rally parade of floats, alumni wel- coming and football game was organized by the Rally Committee. Rally Committee also worked hard to make the new students feel at home their first couple of weeks on the campus. Then there was the selection and crowning of Deanna Peters as our i956 Casaba Queen, along with some other memorable events that were planned and carried out by the Rally Committee. This year, Bruce Becker led the Greens Committee while Carolyn Robinson had charge of the Golds. Both groups worked hand-in-hand with each other, trying to promote the organization's main objective . . . to develop college spirit among the students and the faculty, and to promote the welfare of the college and the Student Association. A note of appreciation should also be given to Rally Committee's two sponsors: Dr. Willard Smith and lvlr. Norman I-lunt. Both gave much of their time and effort for student activities.
